We Are Not Alone
It just realized that I’d never, in a year of participating in one, actually done a search for diet blogs. Turns out there are a ton. However, very few of them seem to be by men, and even fewer by groups.
The amazing adventures of dietgirl seems to be one of the most popular, and has lots of links to others.
I also found this discussion interesting. Without going further, I think it summarizes the whole phenomenon quite nicely.

I think you should link to all the diet blogs. Then publicize yourselves as the blogging, dieting menfolk. Sell advertising. Make money.
It’s all about the moolah.

Hmmm… moolah. Yes. We start with cheap-o pens with ads on them. Hand them out for free. Then charge for T-shirts. Then a book, a video, etc. The empire begins…
That diet girl started at 350 lbs.? She may be the only overweight Australian gal about whom I’ve ever heard! The ladies there are supposedly not the least bit shy about outdoor activities (if I dare stereotype an entire continent’s culture.) I view The Adventures of Diet Girl as a cautionary tale.
