Congratulations on the successful (and apparently very morally upright evening). Well, successful on everything but the choucolate mousse. And the tacos. Cause and effect, and all that. But perhaps it doesn't matter all that much!

I have fond memories of that restaurant, which I happily endorse for those travelling in the Waco area.

I gladly second Will's endorsement. Excellent cuisine, fine service, warm ambience. At the time our group was there, the restaurant seemed to charm several couples there, or at least helped them charm each other. I can't recall another time I've been dining and seen a young man whisk up a young lass for a turn on the floor between the tables. Must have been a great entrée.

Holland, who (or what) is the dead bird to which you allude? I hope it refers to the stuffed pheasant rather than stuffed peasants.
