At the time our group was there, the restaurant seemed to charm several couples there, or at least helped them charm each other. I can't recall another time I've been dining and seen a young man whisk up a young lass for a turn on the floor between the tables. Must have been a great entrée. Holland, who (or what) is the dead bird to which you allude? I hope it refers to the stuffed pheasant rather than stuffed peasants. I gladly second Will’s endorsement.
